**Senior Software Engineer
Pear Suite's SaaS platform helps organizations improve patient well-being and
reduce healthcare costs. Unlike other assessment tools, our platform helps to
assess and address an individual’s social drivers of health using smart
scripts, logic modeling, and actionable dashboards.
We are a venture-backed early-stage startup looking for candidates who are
passionate about making a difference in the world through the use of
technology. This role is for one of our earliest hires. You will play a key
role in shaping the codebase and culture.
Compensation will be competitive and determined by experience and interview
performance.
**Responsibilities
* Design and architect scalable and reusable software
* Document decisions and designs in a clear way
* Develop software using software engineering best practice techniques
* Thoroughly test individual pieces of code and the system as a whole
* Build and manage the cloud computing environment
**Qualifications
* Strong experience and understanding of a Web Application development stack
* Strong understanding of a general purpose software engineering language
* Workable knowledge of git
* Strong communication and prioritization skills
**Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with the PostgreSQL
* Experience with GraphQL
* Experience with Typescript
* Experience with React
* Experience with Express
* Experience with Cloud Services and Architecture (GCP and AWS)
* UI UX best practice familiarity
