About Us: Notebook Labs (YC S22) is an innovative Stanford crypto startup
leveraging the power of modern cryptography, smart contracts, and
decentralized networks to create a more inclusive and efficient financial
ecosystem. Our first product is a novel, decentralized on and off-ramp that
will be live this October and is currently being developed in stealth. We have
raised a $3.3 million seed round and are backed by renowned institutions
including YCombinator and Bain Capital Crypto.
Role: We're seeking dynamic front-end engineers who thrive in a fast-paced
startup environment and are passionate about crafting exceptional user
experiences. In this role, you'll build intuitive, responsive websites and
develop SDKs. We are prioritizing flexible thinkers with strong problem
solving skills. The role will include substantial responsibility for the
growth of Notebook Labs. This is an in-person role and you will work closely
with the core team in our office in Menlo Park.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain production-grade responsive web interfaces, ensuring optimal performance across various devices and browsers.
* Develop our SDK, ensuring its scalability and reliability.
* Write code to interface with smart contracts and read on-chain events and data.
* Collaborate closely with a small, agile team to deliver features and improvements in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Solid experience in React.js, Python, TypeScript and CSS.
* Proven experience in building responsive web applications that work seamlessly across various devices.
* Experience writing production-grade code.
* Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git.
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for crafting clean, reliable, and reusable code.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in small teams.
