**What is the role?**
Nosto is looking to hire a **Full Stack Developer in a** **Sales Engineer
role** to join our team in **New York.**
You will be responsible for a wide array of duties including but not limited
to developing custom vertical-specific personalization solutions during
implementations, customizing Nosto’s default platform integrations, deploying
Nosto in headless/PWA environments, integrating Nosto using the API family
into third-party systems as well as debugging highly complex issues once live.
You will be frequently working within Shopify, Magento, Bigcommerce,
Salesforce Commerce Cloud and custom e-commerce platforms.
You will be a part of Nosto’s Client Services Team in North America which will
act as a direct on-the-ground liaison to Nosto's Engineering Teams worldwide.
The role is designed to support the US market in regard to high-level
technical matters in enterprise clients. As an intermediary between the
developer teams and the US customer base, you will be able to access and debug
Nosto platform code and prepare code for deployment. As such, not just
frontend but also backend skills are important including Java and PHP.
Customer interaction is part and parcel of the role.
**Responsibilities**
* Technical Onboarding support for highly customized Nosto implementations
* Setting up proof-of-concepts and proof-of-performance implementations
* Real-time debugging of critical issues with an enterprise client base
* Sales Engineer/discovery duties during the sales process and customer lifecycle
* Be a resource for our Senior Solutions Managers, including trained frontend engineers
* Assistance in the development of technical integrations with strategic partners such as email, loyalty, analytics, and other ecom SaaS platforms
* Support product launches
**Requirements**
* Hands-on e-commerce experience within various platforms including Shopify, Magento, and Bigcommerce
* Proficiency in a frontend framework such as React, Vue, or an equivalent framework
* You’ve shipped software, ideally longer than 2 years, or personal projects showing your hands-on experience. You should have production experience with a nice bit of our stack: Java, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, AWS, etc., and for the parts you don’t have, you’re excited to learn
* Inclination to follow good development practices like test automation, CI/CD, source version control, dependency management, etc.
* Ability to work in-office 2-3 days/week

**Employment Information:**
* Base Salary Range: $100K-$140K
* This role will have an additional bonus component in addition to the base salary.
