We are looking for a seasoned iOS Developer with strong 3D development skills
to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our 3D modellers
and other developers to bring to life an intuitive and visually stunning
augmented reality app. Your role will involve implementing 3D functionalities
in the Vision Pro app, ensuring optimal performance, and contributing to all
phases of the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the design team to define app features and functionality.
Collaborate with the 3D modelling team to define what's possible in Reality
Composer Pro.
Develop high-quality, maintainable, and robust code for the Vision Pro app,
with a focus on 3D graphics and rendering.
Integrate 3D models, animations, and textures into the application. Optimize
performance for Vision Pro.
Participate in code reviews and team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and
brainstorm new ideas.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in VisionOS, RealityKit, ARKit and other
3D graphics technology.
Assist in the development of project timelines and roadmaps.
Travel to Cupertino as needed to test and refine the Vision Pro app in person.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant
industry experience.
Deep understanding of Swift and SwiftUI.
Strong experience with 3D graphics APIs (e.g., Metal, OpenGL ES) and 3D
rendering techniques.
Experience working with 3D modelling software and collaborating with 3D
artists.
Proven experience building apps using ARKit with a portfolio of examples to
share.
Experience or experimentation with VisionOS and RealityKit Beta technology.
Familiarity with SceneKit is a plus.
Proven track record of developing and launching high-quality applications in
the Apple ecosystem.
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
