**About the Opportunity:**
We build brands and digital experiences for companies with game-changing
visions. As a creative/visual designer at Nen you will be tasked to deliver
brilliant ideas and designs across various industries. You’ll collaborate with
a small interdisciplinary team to craft visuals, solve complex challenges, and
accelerate growth.
**Your role:**
We are seeking a talented and experienced visual designer. In this role,
you’ll work to roll out a range of deliverables within established time frames
and design systems. You will help bring projects to life, focusing on brand
identity, web, social, and presentation design. You will be expected to work
effectively and should be ready to work on anything and everything, always
seeking to deliver high-quality work. This is a contracting role with full-
time conversion pending one quarter.
**What you’ll do:**
* Interpret creative briefs to create engaging and innovative visual designs (e.g. brand identities, webpages, social, marketing collaterals, and more)
* Rapidly produce multiple concepts, knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention vs. when to make low-fi sketches and prototypes
* Contribute to layout, typography, and imagery decisions to help tell cohesive brand stories
* Work with the creative director to build and ensure visual coherence across deliverables
* Collaborate with cross-functional teammates in marketing, product, and design
* Support internal Nen Creative initiatives
**What we’re looking for:**
* BA/BS in Visual Arts or other related discipline preferred, or relevant work experience.
* Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design breadth and capabilities. Must submit a portfolio to be considered.
* Expertise in Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
* Ability to design and adapt to multiple styles. Bonus if you have experience designing for startups/tech.
* Exceptional mobile and web interface design skills demonstrating a strong eye for color, type, and composition.
* Ability to design all aspects of a brand identity end to end (e.g., logos, typographic systems, colors, graphical assets, marketing collateral, etc.).
* The ability to both work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Able to work quickly and meticulously, and can work on multiple projects simultaneously.
* Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
