##### **Minimum Qualifications Required**
* Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematical Statistics, or related field
* Fully or nearly qualified actuary having at least all subjects required for the Associate Actuary qualification
* 5 years actuarial experience in short term insurance
* Experience with reward programs for insurance companies Deliverables include but will not be limited to
* Use actuarial techniques and models to investigate, design and develop appropriate reward initiatives that meet MiWay’s business requirements.
* Assist in the development of new initiatives and products that are powered by telematics technologies.
* Assist in the design and implementation of processes and systems supporting all MiWay’s rewards initiatives.
* Create and maintain reports that track the effectiveness of the reward initiatives and products over time.
* Create and maintain relationships with relevant internal stakeholders and external providers related to rewards.
##### **Competencies Required**
* Excited by new challenges - Can envision and engineer solutions from scratch.
* Keen to explore Big Data and extract value from it.
* Confidence and good communication with non-actuarial audience.
* Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft SQL Server.
* Competency in the Python programming languages will be advantageous.
* Agile and willing to change priorities as business requirements change.
* Able to work alone and manage own time and also work in a team.
_**What will you do?**_
Assists the Chief Actuary with valuations in a financial services institution.
Responsible for premium rates and all other statutory valuation work.
Responsible for the activities of a department or a specific function or area
e.g. supervision of actuarial staff, actuarial students and clerical staff. In
Pension Fund Industry would be appointed as Fund Evaluator with responsibility
for checking fund calculations and doing complex presentations to clients. In
a Consulting environment would clarify client requirements and translate
actuarial concepts into client-friendly terminology, meeting all reporting
requirements. May also be involved in product development. Knowledge and
