Mindto is an early stage sports health technology (HealthTech) startup
providing an innovative platform to support student-athletes on their mental
development and well-being.
We provide personalized service for student athletes aiming to destigmatize
mental health and support students at any time. Every student has the
opportunity to participate in unique interactive classes, watch videos from a
smart library, and attend 1-1 sessions.
Our community of experts include certified coaches in their own practice as
well as the world of professional sports (players, coaches, referees, etc).
Our team currently includes 6 people: Founder, Head of Partnership, Head of
Experts, Web designer, and 2 developers.
The company's values are centered on innovation, diversity, passion, and the
desire to build an impactful product for student-athletes.
We are planning a pilot by February 2023 with a professional team to help us
shape the right product for players.
After this pilot, we will scale and bring our product to the professional
world for their academies and for universities.
The individual hired for the CTO position will receive an equity of 10/20%
(negotiable).
The position is currently fully remote.
CTO's responsibilities:
Take over the creation of our platform online + web application (front-end,
back-end, devops, QA etc)
Hire, manage & lead a team of software engineers to help you in the process
Perform in-depth analysis and technical cost-benefit analysis to define and
prioritize the engineering roadmap on a regular basis.
Provide concrete technical guidance to the team to decrease and promptly
resolve technical blockers
CTO's must-have skills:
High motivation, resilience, sense of urgency & ownership to make the company
succeed
Highly developed ability to conceptualize, communicate and solve complex
problems of different nature at a very fast-paced environment
5+ years of recent professional web development experience in any major back-
end web development programming language with Strong knowledge of Net Core and
Web API, Experience in Front End Frameworks (e.g. React.js)
Top academic background or professional experience in leading industry/company
In-depth knowledge of relational databases and NoSQL databases
Familiarity with various operating systems
CTO's nice-to-have skills:
Professional experience in financial technology
Professional experience in a software engineering management position
Professional experience in a software engineering position in a early stage
growth startup
