average of 30 different apps. That overwhelming amount of data and its
confusing fragmentation make it difficult to think, create and grow online and

So we’re building MindPalace, a high-resolution reflection of your digital
self so you can live your life to its fullest potential. MindPalace arms you
with a bespoke personal agent with realtime access to all your data (text
messages, emails, notes, browsing history, listening habits, etc), helping you
understand, explore, and derive value from all that makes you, you.
**Who You Are**
We’re looking for a Lead Engineer who believes in our mission and our vision
and will be, first and foremost, a true believer in our product.
* You are passionate about ML, data science, and widening the reach of practical AI technologies
* You possess strong business acumen, able to translate business objectives into technical strategies, backed by a strong analytical mindset focused on data-driven decision-making
* You are able to operate autonomously in ambiguous situations, providing strategic direction and influencing outcomes with minimal guidance
* You have a genuine interest, curiosity and passion for making life more peaceful online, a yearning to live a more liberated life online and off, and a burning desire to create products that help people do that.

**Responsibilities**
* Architect and build robust AI infrastructure to support our application at scale.
* Stay updated with the latest AI/ML technologies and frameworks to enhance our capabilities.
* Lead the development of AI models, data pipelines, and model training workflows.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan technical roadmaps and deliver product initiatives.
* Mentor and manage a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of innovation.
* Own problems end-to-end, learning whatever is necessary to ensure the success of our product.
* Uphold best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, testing, and monitoring.
**Requirements**
* 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
* Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), embeddings, agents, and advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
* Hands-on experience with relational graphs (knowledge graphs), vector databases, and PostgreSQL.
* Strong experience with Python and cloud infrastructure, specifically Azure.
* Meaningful experience managing a technical team, with a focus on fostering innovation and continuous learning.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
* A self-starter, able to learn new technologies quickly and independently.
* Passionate about consumer-facing products and have a user-centric mindset.
