Migaku is an all-in-one language learning platform that allows you to study a
language with content you love on Netflix, YouTube, websites, books, and more.
Create flashcards with one click while you watch or read, including a
screenshot and audio recording of the scene, and study them on your phone
later wherever you are.
With this role, we’re looking for an experienced engineer who can straighten
out and simplify our backend infrastructure. Our main technologies are
Javascript/Typescript and Kotlin on the Google Cloud Platform. Our products
share important code across a Chrome browser extension, iOS, Android, and a
website – this has development made easier in one way but also introduced
complexity in other ways. We’re honestly excited about our stack, but it now
deserves an passionate expert to take it to the ultimate level.
