**Angular Developer I - Charlotte, NC/Hybrid**
**12 Month W2 Contract initially**
This Angular Developer position will be joining the Mobile & Multiplatform
Durable Team. The Nuclear Mobile Teams mission is to implement innovative
technologies accelerating our Nuclear sites' performance and efficiency by
delivering web and mobile applications that simply and automate various worker
activities. Qualified developers will have a strong understanding and
experience in the development and design of complex systems using advanced
capabilities of Angular v12+ along with various JavaScript frameworks. The
primary emphasis for experience is weighted towards front-end development but
the ideal candidate will have experience developing applications using AWS
services. This team member will have the opportunity to work on an array of
challenging problems and will engage in envisioning and building innovative
products and experiences that will push the boundaries of what is currently
possible within Nuclear and may have little to no current precedent.
**Responsibilities & Duties include:**
* Workers at this level manage sprint backlog tasks in application areas of specialization, with minimal supervision.
* Provide full competency in web development concepts and best practices.
* Identify problems, develop solutions, and take actions to resolve.
* Creates, maintains, and enhances web services as part of a durable product team.
* Researches, evaluates, and implements new technology to optimize application efficiency and usability.
* Designs new functionality based on product backlog priorities and coordinates development efforts in collaboration with durable product team and cross-functional organizations.
* Maintains records to document system and programming development and revisions.
* Leverages CI/CD automation and best practices to deliver quality solutions to our end users.
* Applies iterative development to continuously deliver value through frequent deployments.
* Ensures adherence to appropriate design, coding, and cybersecurity standards.
* Leads design and code walk-thru as a presenter or reviewer.
**Basic/Required Qualifications:**
* Bachelors degree in computer science or a related discipline; OR 6+ years of related work experience in lieu of a degree.
* 1-3 years of development experience with an emphasis on Angular development.
* Expert level development capabilities using Angular v12+ required.
* Experience working in an Agile development environment utilizing the Scrum framework.
**Desired/Preferred Qualifications:**
* A UI/UX expert proficient in RxJS, Redux or NgRx and other related web technologies (i.e. - HTML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript)
* Experience using Angular Material or Electron is strongly desired.
* Knowledge and experience using Angular Library Projects is ideal.
* Experience with IT DevOps principles and tools (e.g. - Git, Bitbucket, Sonar Cube, Checkmarx, Jenkins, etc.)
* Cloud Platforms: Amazon Web Services (e.g. - CloudFront, S3, EC2,etc) and Docker a major plus.
* Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect front-end applications to back-end services.
* Influential communicator with technical and non-technical individuals.
* Can work autonomously and self-initiated.
