##### Job Description :
To support our growth, we are looking for a **Software Engineer (Operations
Software Engineering)** to join our Final Mille product development group to
support our growth. In this role you will work closely with cross functional
teams and fellow engineers to implement customer requested changes, develop
support tools in the assigned product(s). **This is a remote position.** You
can be based anywhere within the United States.
##### **Summary of Responsibilities:**
* Fulfill operational requests, this typically includes but not limited to updating/running backend scripts/jobs, developing and running reports, loading, uploading, and updating backend data, creating users, configurating workflows, in some cases doing code changes to meet specific requirements
* Understand product business, functional and operational capabilities, workflows, and integrations
* Triaging, and resolving issues, this typically involves logging into multiple applications/systems, inspecting, tracing, and tracking application logs, workflows, data, implementing necessary code changes to fix reported issues
* Developing and enhancing product functionality
* Interface with different stakeholder groups as necessary to advance operational efficiency and quality of the product
##### **Required experience:**
* 4+ years of professional web applications development experience in PHP, and/or Python
* Ability to timely investigate, troubleshoot, and fix issues
* Strong understanding of web application architecture running in a Linux environment
* Front-end experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* Experience working with SQL, database development, dealing with CSV, Excel files, running scripts, reports
* Knowledge of shell scripting, and proficiency using Linux commands
* Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Subversion
* Understanding of Agile development
* Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
* Ability to multitask and switch priorities, as necessary
* Good collaboration and communication skills
* Experience with JavaScript frameworks, jQuery, Vue.js, DataTable library
