Job Description

**Maximus** is a mission-driven consumer health company that provides men
with content, community, and clinical support to optimize them in mind and

**Maximus** is looking for a **Head of Operations** to lead our pharmacy
supply chain, and customer support, and support investor relations and the
senior leadership team. We are looking for a detail-oriented operator with
sharp analytical skills and experience managing sophisticated operations at a
tech startup, preferably in health care/telemedicine, consumer packaged goods
(CPG), or SaaS. This can be (or grow into) a Chief Operating Officer (COO)
role for the right person who wants to be on a senior leadership team of a top
venture-backed startup.

**Responsibilities:**

* **Own responsibility for Maximus’s clinical supply chain to offer cutting-edge personalized pharmaceuticals while ensuring an excellent customer experience.**
* Source and manage relationships with compounding pharmacies, medical devices, laboratories, and contract supplement manufacturers.
* Manage and coordinate logistics and forecasting to ensure seamless product delivery
* Identify opportunities to improve cost, speed, and reliability.
* Stay on top of applicable legal and regulatory compliance to reduce risks.
* **Manage Maximus’s customer support team to offer efficient, evidence-based support.**
* Create and institute customer support procedures and leverage AI to handle inbound customer questions and complaints.
* Track KPIs to measure and, ultimately, improve customer satisfaction and support efficiency.
* Generate insights from customer support interactions that can improve company processes and products.
* **Support investor relations and the senior leadership team with strategy, planning, and analytics to drive the company 's growth and success.**
* Work directly with the CEO to support investor relations (investor updates, board meetings, VC fundraises).
* Leverage business analytics and insights to deliver impactful recommendations on product, process, or policy improvements that will improve customer experience, costs, and/or quality.
* Collaborate with other functions (i.e. product, marketing, engineering etc.) to define and execute on a world-class customer experience.

**The ideal candidate will have the following:**

**Experience:**

* **Industry** : 3+ years of operations leadership experience at a technology startup, preferably in health care/telemedicine, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or SaaS.
* **Supply Chain / Logistics** : Demonstrated ability to handle complex, multi-vendor, multi-step operations while achieving high quality and cost improvements. Experience working with pharmacies is a plus.
* **Communication** : Refined communication skills with proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* **Analytics** : Strong analytical orientation and a knack for solving new business problems as they arise.
