We’re a start-up joint venture between a leading small business investment
firm and a technology agency operating at the cutting edge of automation and
AI solutions.
We’re leaders in our fields coming together to launch a new company that helps
Main Street businesses streamline their operations and graduate from pen and
paper to digital operations.

founding President of this new venture.
**Why We Need You:**
We’re at the frontier of a new era - one where every small business will have
both the access and ability to adopt automation and AI to improve their
operations, from back-office workflows to outbound sales and marketing, and
everything in between. There are new agencies popping up to serve this growing
market, but none have the skills, capital, and ambition to build the industry
leader, in terms of both scale and thought leadership. We aim to be that
company. And we need you to be our hands-on leader guiding the company through
rapid growth to tens of millions of dollars in revenue over the next five
years.
You will leverage your love of problem solving, sales, and technology, to
interface with clients at small businesses across the country. This includes
developing and maintaining client relationships, learning about their business
objectives, and working alongside low-code and no-code developers to craft
technology solutions that achieve them.
To start, you will be the primary point of contact responsible for sourcing
new clients and managing the relationships with them. Our agency will
initially provide the back-end fulfillment and then gradually shift resources
over as the client and revenue base builds. Over time we expect you will
develop a team of sales representatives, account managers, project managers,
and implementation specialists, guiding their professional development, and
enhancing their performance through regular mentoring and coaching.
As the key executive responsible for leading the company, you will report to
the Board of Directors and engage regularly for support, to develop strategy,
and to set company priorities.
**What We’re Looking For:**
The ideal candidate is someone of the highest integrity who loves
entrepreneurship, problem solving, and technology.
You should care deeply about entrepreneurship and be ready to take the leap to
build your own venture.
You should be comfortable interfacing with clients, ideally with prior
experience in consulting, business development, or sales, but we’d also be
excited to hear from you if you have a different background and believe you
could perform those functions with proper training and support.
In addition, the ideal candidate will possess:
High agency – You don’t wait for others to give you direction; rather, you
identify problems and implement solutions that work.
Technology fluency - In order to perform effectively, you will need to
continuously stay on top of the latest developments in AI and automation. You
don’t need to be an expert in every automation tool or an expert in the latest
prompts for ChatGPT, but you should be familiar with the space and have a keen
interest in staying current and having enough knowledge to communicate
persuasively with various audiences about the capabilities and benefits of
different tools.
Outstanding people leadership skill – You keep your office door open. You know
how to quickly forge relationships with those on your teams, do what is
required to bring out the best in them, and cultivate talent as we grow. You
have examples where you have invested differentially in someone to help them
grow and advance and are excited to share those stories with us.
A track record of being accountable – You do what you say you will and aren’t
afraid to own your mistakes. You take the lead but are willing to ask for
help.
You need not have prior President or CEO experience. We have mentored dozens
of people stepping into a senior leadership role for the first time and will
lend our full support to make you successful and unlock your full potential.
