**Job description:**

The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and implementing
strategic sales plans, utilizing their existing network and innovative
strategies such as hosting webinars, attending industry events, leveraging
professional networking platforms, and coordinating targeted digital marketing
campaigns, to generate high-quality leads among C-level executives within
large organizations and SMEs, ultimately driving sales growth.

**Role:**

The Head of Sales will strategically drive sales growth by leveraging their
network and innovative tactics to generate quality leads among C-level
executives within large organizations and SMEs.

**Responsibilities:**

* Generate quality leads among C-level executives globally and drive the conversion
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans (companies to target, people within those companies to target, etc.) and sales objectives (sales quotas, sales volume projections, etc)
* Establish effective processes and identify appropriate tools to streamline the complete sales journey
* Utilize your established network (international network) to directly engage with C-level executives and key decision-makers within targeted businesses
* Implement lead generation strategies, in addition to leveraging your own network, including, but not limited to:
* Attending industry events and conferences to establish a strong presence and build meaningful relationships
* Using LinkedIn and other professional networking platforms to connect with potential leads
* Collaborating with the marketing team to launch targeted digital marketing campaigns
* Hosting webinars and online presentations to showcase our product to potential customers
* Develop and uphold robust, enduring relationships with customers through:
* Understanding MailMaestro thoroughly
* Understanding of customers’ needs
* Consistent follow-ups
* Relay client requirements accurately to the business development and product teams to facilitate smooth onboarding and product customization
* Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align digital marketing strategies
* Report on sales metrics, provide forecasts, and present to the management team
* No team to manage at first, but we’re planning to grow the sales team in the next months that will be reporting to you
* In the meantime, you shouldn’t be afraid of rolling up your sleeves, you’ll be working in a start-up after all (be able to generate leads through cold calling, email, etc., follow up on leads regularly, lead initial discussions, create presentations for sales pitches, track sales pipeline, send follow-ups after a call/meeting)

**Experience needed:**

* 10+ experience as a sales executive, sales manager, or sales and marketing director,
* Ideally within, but not limited to, the tech industry (we are also open to people with backgrounds in other industries)
* Within mid- to large-sized corporations
* And with international exposure
* Ability to generate leads
* A vast network of contacts at the C-level in large organizations and SMEs across industries
* Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
* Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of the product you’re selling and position it against competitors
* Proven experience in discerning unique client needs and adeptly aligning to the product offerings to meet these requirements
* Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Strong verbal and written communications skills
* A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. An MBA would be a plus.
