Luganodes is a Swiss-operated staking service provider offering blockchain
infrastructure to PoS networks. Our engineering team builds high-availability,
secure, and robust platforms to support our growing validator offerings. We
seek a team lead who can bring fresh ideas, and collaborate with a cross-
functional team to solve complex technical challenges. This is a hands-on role
with significant responsibility, offering the opportunity to contribute to
open-source projects and present at global conferences.
**Responsibilities:**
* Lead a team of talented engineers.
* Write clean, maintainable code and build monitoring systems.
* Conduct code reviews, debug issues and continuously improve development processes.
* Design, build, and maintain infrastructure for multiple services and products.
* Develop scalable software solutions and optimize system performance.
* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers on new features.
* Engage in system design, platform management, and capacity planning.
* Develop solutions by analyzing information needs, system flow, and work processes.
* Stay updated on software development trends.
**Skills Required:**
* **Programming Languages** : Proficiency in languages such as Typescript, Python, Rust, or similar.
* **Infrastructure Management** : Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
* **Monitoring & Logging**: Expertise in using Prometheus and Grafana for system monitoring and alerting.
* **Version Control** : Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
* **Code Quality** : Ability to conduct thorough code reviews and enforce coding standards.
* **System Design** : Experience with designing distributed systems and microservices architectures.
* **Database Management** : Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
* **CI/CD Pipelines** : Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment practices.
* **Networking** : Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and load balancing. Experience with network security practices and VPNs.
* **Security Practices** : Awareness of best practices for securing applications and infrastructure, including knowledge of encryption methods, firewall management, and vulnerability assessments.

* Open-Source Experience: Experience contributing to or managing open-source projects.
