**The Role:**

The Software Engineer will play a critical role in the success of TM Promoted.
This role will lead the technical deployment of TM Promoted, from design
through engineering development, owning the development and design of entire
application and integration components. This person will work with a large
variety of technologies and will be part of a dedicated TM Promoted team that
will integrate with the larger Ticketmaster technical organization to ensure
the full end-to-end delivery of new functionalities, including testing and
production support.

**Responsibilities:**

* Translate business and product requirements into thorough technical requirements.
* Participate in Daily Scrums, refinement sessions and other technical work sessions
* Help Product to evaluate new technologies and participate in decision-making, accounting for several factors such as viability within Live Nation’s technical environments, maintainability, and cost of ownership. Initiate and execute research and proof-of-concept activities for new technologies
* Build relationships with other key technical stakeholders across Ticketmaster to ensure alignment of TM Promoted within their ecosystems.
* Create and improve standards and best practices to ensure high-performance, scalable, repeatable, and secure deliverables
* Manage the design, lifecycle management, and total cost of ownership of services
* Participate and conduct code review, design review, testing, and debugging activities at the application level. Develop functional design and participate in architecture discussions with understanding of process flows and system diagrams to enable design decisions
* Consistently deliver code that sets the standard for quality and maintainability
* Write highly insightful, comprehensive code reviews
* Use your technology acumen to apply and maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies within specialized area(s) of the technology domain
* Participate in routine and non-routine construction, automation, and implementation activities, ensuring successful implementation with architectural and operational requirements and best practices met
* Provide technical oversight and coach others to resolve complex and severe technical issues

**Desired Skills and Experience**

* 3+ years of development experience with Java, Python, C, C++. JavaScript, React (NextJS) or Node
* 1+ years of GraphQL (Apollo Client & Server) experience.
* 1+ years’ experience in Cloud Computing (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.)
* 1+ years’ of experience in application and CI/CD pipeline development
* 1+ years’ experience working with big data in a production environment
* 1+ years’ experience in developing microservices
* Degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, or other related discipline
* Experience with Design Patterns and SOLID principles
* Demonstrated success in working with a cross-functional team including engineers, other product management teams, and sales/client service
* _Bonus_ : 1+ years’ experience working with Fastly

New York City Salary Range: $124,000-$135,000 Base

candidate will be in New York or perform the position in New York. Similar

internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay
