**Position Overview** : We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Chief
Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technological vision and execution. The
CTO will play a pivotal role in driving LifeAdapt's technology strategy and
will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end technology development and
deployment.
**Key Responsibilities** :
* Architect, develop, and maintain the backend infrastructure of LifeAdapt, ensuring robustness, scalability, security, and HIPAA compliance.
* Oversee the development and integration of our machine learning pipeline, web dashboard, mobile app, and smartwatch apps.
* Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team engineers and part-time contractors.
* Interface and coordinate with our research team.
* Ensure the seamless integration and effective functioning of different technologies including Python, Django, Java, Swift, Svelte, and other relevant web and back-end technologies.
* Complete the remaining 20% of backend development, building upon the existing framework.
* Collaborate with the executive team to align the technology strategy with business goals.
* Drive innovation and stay abreast of emerging technologies to maintain LifeAdapt's competitive edge.
**Qualifications** :
* Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar leadership role within a technology environment.
* Extensive experience in backend architecture and development.
* Strong proficiency in Python, Django, Java, Swift, Svelte, and other relevant technologies.
* Experience with mobile and web application development, including smartwatch integrations.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage technical teams.
* Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
