##### **Position Objective**
The Back-end Developer will use strong technical abilities to create
innovative and engaging applications. This position will be responsible to
maintain high-level codes standards and quality. This position will also
provide support to and maintain services needed to ensure proper function of
all product and service deliverables.
##### **Job Responsibilities**
* Actively create innovative and engaging applications to assist in the growth and functionality of company products
* Effectively implement security and data protection
* Design and manage relational databases on functional requirements
* Ensure integration of user-facing elements
* Build reusable code and libraries for future use
* Optimize for maximum speed and scalability on various projects
* Effectively collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code to enhance user experience
* Work with cross-functional teams to ensure projects deadlines are met
* Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices
* Remain current on new programming languages to enhance current and future products
* Complete other duties as assigned
##### **Minimum Qualification**
* High school diploma or equivalent is required
* Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
* Proven work experience working with MySQL or similar SQL
* Understanding of HTML/CSS
* Experience with JavaScript (Node.js), PHP, Kotlin, or Python
* Excellent analytical and time management skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure)
* Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement
