Legal.io is building the world’s leading enterprise marketplace for legal
talent and technology. We help in-house legal departments hire legal
professionals for temporary and permanent roles, and move the careers of our
members forward by connecting them to opportunities, data and each other so
they can excel in their field.

We’re looking for an experienced, Senior Account Executive, who is passionate
about connecting with and solving the problems of very large (Fortune 1000 and
above) companies. This is a full-time remote position at a highly
collaborative startup that’s still early in our growth stage (~ 20 people). In
this role, you’ll have the opportunity to leave a large footprint, make a
significant impact, and shape the future of legal work at a rapidly growing
venture backed legal tech company.

Minimum requirements:

* 7+ years of experience
* Prior account management experience with large, F1000 and above, companies
* Prior experience closing new deals and breaking into new accounts
* Must be located within the San Francisco Bay Area, or at least able to meet with clients and leverage our full calendar of events in the region

What you’ll do

* As a Senior Account Executive, you will identify and qualify new accounts, use your consultative approach to help solve your customers' hiring, recruiting, and operational challenges, and maintain successful relationships that lead to additional sales opportunities
* Build strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities
* Work together with a virtual account team to prospect and identify key decision makers within your named account list
* Generate a sales pipeline through proactive outreach to find, develop and convert sales conversations to identified prospects/opportunities
* Follow up on leads and generate referrals
* Manage the full sales life cycle beyond initial account closure
* Partner with our Customer Success and Client Services teams to achieve customer satisfaction
* Partner with Community and Marketing teams to create go-to-market campaigns to expand your reach to your account base

Who you are

* You have at least 7 years of prior AE experience (10+ preferred)
* You are an individual contributor, but could evolve into a player coach and lead a Bay Area pod with a more junior AE
* You have experience closing new deals and are adept and creating and maintaining valuable relationships
* You ideally have a JD, ran a legal ops team, or have prior experience working with and interacting with in-house legal teams (though not required)
