Founded in 2021, Lafayette Ventures I, LLC is a mobile application startup
aimed at becoming the market-leading platform for in-person meetups. We help
people connect with each other seamlessly, create life-long memories and
capture special moments.
We are at the crucial point in development where it is time to build our MVP,
position the company for growth and build a user base. We bring with us
critical competitive advantages, and have all the reason in the world to
believe Lafayette Ventures will become a leader in the social media
application space.
Your role will be to help design and build our MVP, and oversee all
technological aspects of Lafayette Ventures. We're looking to partner with
someone who will become our technical co-founder. Someone who is open-minded,
enjoys new challenges, and brings with them full-stack development knowledge,
time management and communication skills, and a great attitude.
If you're looking to help build the next massive Social Media platform, and
assume a leadership role as we scale, look no further. Right now, we are pre-
seed and pre-revenue. Because of which, it is important to note that this is
NOT a paid position at the moment. You will be given a split in equity as we
prepare to raise our seed-round towards the end of the year. You won't need to
quit your day-job, just yet. Assuming you understand this, and this post

The role will report to the Co-Founders. Co-Founders are previous investment
professionals with backgrounds in investment banking, private equity, and
business development/startup roles.
Candidates without full-stack mobile development experience will not be
considered.
Lafayette Ventures I focuses on Mobile, Social Media, and Blockchain /
