We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at
Kindertales. The successful candidate will have a broad range of technology
skills, including proficiency in back-end programming languages and experience
with various APIs (REST). Familiarity with various web frameworks and common
software design patterns is also beneficial.
The individual should have a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,
or equivalent industry experience. We are looking for a bright, innovative,
and dedicated individual who will play a key role in enhancing Kindertales
applications.
**Requirements**
* Post-secondary degree in Computer Science / Information Systems / Software Engineering, or similar work experience
* 5-7 years of full stack development experience
* A strong understanding, knowledge, and practical experience with common web technologies and REST/JSON API's
* Experience working with Python/NodeJS/PHP
* Familiarity with database data modeling and/or data migrations
* Experience with frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript)
* Proficient with Git
* Meticulous knowledge of development processes and architectures
* Attention to detail, strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Understanding of and experience in all aspects of testing from unit, integration, system, functional, and regression to acceptance
* Ability to work well in a team environment addressing various needs or challenges as they arise.
**Nice to have**
* Experience with DevOps principles and practices
* Familiarity with modern JavaScript (ES6+) and React.
* Experience with AWS
