### Role 🎮
As Kado's Head of Latin America, you will be instrumental in scaling our
organization across the LATAM region. Your focus will be on partnerships,
marketing, community engagement, education, and events, ensuring a significant
footprint for Kado in this vibrant and rapidly growing market.
You will lead efforts to identify and pursue new business opportunities,
nurture existing relationships, and expand Kado’s presence. This role requires
a deep understanding of the LATAM market, a strong network within the web3
community, and the ability to create and execute strategic plans that drive
growth and engagement.
### Responsibilities ⚡️
* **Strategic Leadership** : Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for Kado’s expansion in LATAM, aligning with company goals and market opportunities.
* **Partnership Development** : Identify and establish partnerships with key players in the LATAM web3 ecosystem, including businesses, developers, community leaders, and educational institutions.
* **Market Growth** : Explore and penetrate new markets, creating tailored approaches to reach diverse audiences in the region.
* **Community Engagement** : Build and nurture a strong community presence through events, online platforms, and educational initiatives that promote Kado’s mission and services.
* **Marketing Leadership** : Drive localized marketing campaigns that resonate with the LATAM audience, leveraging social media, influencer partnerships, and traditional media channels.
* **Team Building** : Hire and manage a dedicated team to support business development, marketing, community engagement, and educational outreach as Kado’s presence in LATAM scales.
* **Thought Leadership** : Represent Kado at regional events, conferences, and forums, positioning the company as a leader in web3 payments and infrastructure solutions.
* **Customer Success** : Act as a liaison for LATAM partners and customers, ensuring their needs are met and their feedback is incorporated into Kado’s product development.
### Requirements 📑
* Experience in Web3/Crypto: 2+ years in the crypto or web3 industry.
* Leadership Experience: 5+ years in sales, business development, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
* Regional Expertise: Deep understanding of the LATAM market, including cultural, economic, and technological nuances.
* Web3 Knowledge: Familiarity with different crypto ecosystems such as Solana, Avalanche, Cosmos, and/or Ethereum. Knowledge on stablecoins and their relative value within the LATAM region is a must. Direct experience in these ecosystems is a plus.
* Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in building and scaling business development organizations.
* Community Engagement: Experience engaging with web3 builders, protocol developers, and community leaders.
* Technical Understanding: Proficiency with web3 applications and how Kado’s solutions can benefit various use cases (wallets, DeFi, DAOs, gaming, NFTs, validators, etc.).
