As our **first engineering hire,** you'll have the unique opportunity to:
* Shape our engineering direction and workload
* Work on groundbreaking projects involving AI, LLMs, and more (see examples below)
* Collaborate closely with our external partners to fuel our growth
* Contribute to product decisions, direction and prioritization
### 🔧 Sample set of projects (completed & in the pipeline)
* Developing an LLM-driven self-auditing system to increase confidence in LLM transformations and speed to review
* Build an AI-native Excel sheet for quantitative synthesis, empowering users to systematically pull out structured data points across series of calls
* Build a dynamic research summarisation engine to provide up-to-date key insights across primary and secondary research
* Fine-tuning LLMs to drive task-specific improvements
### 🔥 About You
We're looking for product-minded full-stack engineers who:
* **Based in NYC** — huge bias for IRL work
* Have experience **leading projects** end-to-end and taking ideas from conception to execution independently
* Are **opinionated** about their work and eager to contribute to product decisions
* Have **strong communication skills** and a desire for a client-facing role — as a small team, we expect that everyone will be working closely with our external partners
* Are proficient in our tech stack: Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL
* Bonus points for experience building & designing AI-powered products!
