**Senior Full Stack Engineer – Customer Experience: Patients & Providers**

The role focuses specifically on the Patients, Providers and Clinical Decision
Support space which includes the Invitae primary Customer Experience suite, as
well as multiple market established provider-facing platforms. In this space
you will be working to develop our reporting tools, risk-engines, clinical
guidelines and interfaces to align with provider networks of all scale. Our
framework will enable clinicians to maximize time while allowing them to make
world-class genetic decisions. We are looking for a reliable and motivated
Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Patients and Provider team. This role
will work closely with Engineering, Clinical and Product Management
stakeholders. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will take abstract ideas
from inception to delivery. Along the delivery path you will evangelize the
solution, mentor stakeholders and engineers, and look for opportunities to
improve productivity.

**What you’ll do:**
• Be hands-on with production code and drive technical excellence.
• Owns technical deliverables for a large-scale product / platform, across
multiple teams.
• Collaborates with technical and product teams to deliver long-lasting,
modular, testable software and system design.
• Identifies, prioritizes, and solves for ambiguous, open-ended problems.
• Evaluates technological and design choices and presents well-thought-out
approaches and technical trade-offs.
• Translates business requirements across the company into a technical roadmap
and architecture.
• Lead technical design while mentoring more junior engineers during
implementation.

**What you bring:**
• 8+ years leading large-scale software development across multiple teams.
• Track record of designing, implementing, and supporting full-stack, user-
facing applications (SaaS a plus)
• Experience designing software targeting ease of administration and support.
• Experience running large-scale, distributed, cloud-based applications.
• Deep experience and understanding of a wide range of technologies,
languages, frameworks, and paradigms.
• Experience with back-end applications (e.g. NodeJS, Python, PHP, Go, C#, or
other)
• Experience with front-end applications (e.g. Javascript/Typescript, React,
Angular, Vue, or other)
• Experience with Docker / Kubernetes / Kafka
• Experience with microservice architecture, and/or event-driven architectures

**• Bonus points for:**
o Prior healthcare experience
o Experience working with global resources in multiple time-zones.
o Basic understanding of AWS resources and tooling.
