incredibly fun and hands on role where you will be rapidly building production
web applications for both internal and customer facing serving thousands of
end users.

* You will report to our SVP, Software Engineering.

**🌐 Responsibilities** :

* Build, architect, & engineer our internal systems for student, campus, financial, placement, & operations management.
* Build, architect, & engineer modern interactive educational platforms to deliver technical content to our vast student-base.
* Heavily maintain our existing platform infrastructure and assist in modernization.
* Most importantly, you will be working toward a meaningful and respectable cause in helping people get upskilled and find their dream career in tech. This role is about developing platforms that transform complex technical content into understandable and more hands-on exercises for our aspiring IT students.

**🗝️ Key Qualifications** :

* ⚙️ 5+ years developing backend applications professionally with a focus on NodeJs, TypeScript, MongoDB, and Redis. Experience should be deeply rooted in these technologies. If you are ONLY a frontend developer, please DO NOT apply.
* ⚡️ 5+ years of professional working experience with the Express.js / Nest.js API frameworks. You live and breathe in these frameworks or similar. Don’t apply unless you have direct experience.
* 🏆 3+ years developing full-stack applications professionally with a focus on Vue.js, React.js, and Next.js. Having some frontend experience is a MUST for full-stack integration, but specific frontend frameworks can be learnt on the job.
* 🧠 Strong experience with containerizing and deploying applications utilizing Docker & Kubernetes. Having experience in product deployment and modern methods such as containerization is crucial to this role.
* Incredibly comfortable with programming and architecting web applications and RESTful APIs.
* Ability to build product without fleshed out architectures and direction.

**🧩 Projects You Will Lead** :

* Management App (MGMT) – Internal application(s) used to maintain and store school operations such as student management, financial reporting, automated placement services, marketing/communication, and more.
* Academy App (Learn) – The centralized hub for students to access our educational tools and learning management system. This hub connects Athena & labs into bite sized assignments.
