Job Description

The overall purpose of this position is to lead in a variety of assignments
including web development, providing design/architectural solutions, and
leading projects for various technology solutions for the IEEE business
systems and the Drupal Content Management Systems. Liaise with fellow backend
and front-end developers. Design and implement web applications or websites
written in the Drupal framework. Write front and back-end code. Ensuring the
solution is operating to a degree of high performance. You will collaborate
with other site engineers, designers, and content writers to create a
compelling and eye-catching website. We hope that as a Drupal developer, you

efficient website.

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets

Below are the qualifications that are expected of a Drupal developer:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer programming, software
engineering, or a related technical field.
7-10 years of Experience with Acquia, Drupal Design, Development, and
Administration
Must be able to write code in CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
Experience in developing eCommerce websites, creating passion projects, or
other means of developing expertise and familiarity with Drupal 7/8/9, HTML5,
CSS, or other forms of web-based and Drupal development.
Familiarity with building and managing a content management system (CMS)
including managing regular site updates and back-end upgrades.
Familiarity with consuming and/or creating API’s
Implement all agreed resources to provide a responsive and visually appealing
website and easy-to-use interface.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Keen attention to detail
Clear and concise communication skills—both written and verbal
Excellent time and project management skills
