Hyfe is seeking a bilingual Japanese-English Project / Product Manager to lead
the development of a pathbreaking digital therapeutic for chronic cough. You
will work alongside our brilliant team of developers and medical professionals
to design, validate, and bring to market a DTx that makes a significant
difference in the quality of life of people with problematic cough.
**Your Mission**
Your core mission is to manage the relationship with our Japanese partners to
shepherd the design, clinical validation, regulatory approval and go-to-market
implementation of a digital therapeutic app based on proven behavioral therapy
that reduces cough sensitivity and results in resolution of chronic cough for
a majority of patients. It will build on Hyfe’s unique cough-detection and
insights capability and drive behavior change that helps problematic coughers
reduce or eliminate their symptoms.
**Project Management:**
* Stakeholder communications: You will be the first point of contact and liaison between project stakeholders and our engineering team
* Team leadership: Your collaboration skills will help clarify scope, manage expectations, and communicate on progress and milestones
* Delivery management: Planning project roadmaps in tandem with our engineering team and customers
**Product Management:**
* Analyze and incorporate market research findings into product design/planning
* Oversee actual product development, from concept to viable prescription therapeutic
* Oversee user testing to ensure product meets the needs of those with chronic cough
* Oversee physician testing to ensure product will be prescribed to those with chronic cough
* Collaborate with partners to ensure product meets PMDA standards
**About You**
* 3+ years managing Japanese stakeholders, including senior managers and working-level partners
* Demonstrated ability to plan and execute products through collaboration between internal teams
* Major plus if that experience is in app development
* Major plus if that experience is in health/health tech
* Strong leadership to plan/execute steps in a collaborative fashion
* Excellent communication skills, including writing high-level documentation in English and Japanese, text-based collaboration, and conducting productive meetings with internal teams and customers
* Native/highly fluent Japanese
* Fluent written and spoken English
