changing career education and opportunities for students in high school. We
deploy the most cutting edge of generative AI tech to help students discover
careers and navigate their futures.
We launched our first AI-powered effort in January 2024. Having witnessed the
impact of our app with 1000+ students in the first 8 months of launch, we
believe well-designed AI-powered career discovery should be universally
accessible. We are looking for someone to help drive adoption of the app and
bring it to market. Youโll be responsible for getting the app into the hands
of hundreds of thousands of students.
**The Role**
As the Founding Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and
executing comprehensive marketing strategies to engage with educators in
schools and experiment with direct-to-student outreach. Youโll translate
strategy into action, manage multiple marketing channels, and work closely
with our product, partnerships teams and education partners to create
inspiring narratives. This role requires a balance of creativity, analytics,
and strategic thinking to drive student app sign-ups and downloads.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Develop and execute marketing strategies targeting educators and experimenting with student-directed marketing.
* Create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including: 1) Online: social media, newsletters/mailing lists, digital ads (social, SEO/SEM), and 2) Offline: conferences, events, workshops.
* Craft marketing briefs and oversee their execution.
* Collaborate with content producers (e.g., designers, videographers) and write copy independently with team input.
* Manage marketing operations, including CRM tools like Mailchimp and HubSpot.
* Analyze marketing metrics and campaign performance to inform future strategy.
* Drive success metrics, primarily focused on student app sign-ups.

**Key Qualifications**
* Proven ability to translate marketing strategy into execution, crafting detailed briefs and leading projects from concept to completion.
* Experience managing multiple marketing channels, including social media, digital advertising, newsletters, and in-person events.
* Strong copywriting skills and the ability to produce inspiring content with minimal guidance.
* Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot).
* Metrics-driven mindset, comfortable analyzing data and measuring impact.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a diverse team.
**Preferred Skills & Experience**
* Experience in the education sector is a bonus

**What will you do in your first 6 months?**
* Youโll run lots of experiments!
* Based on your learnings you will develop a multi-channel, multi-audience marketing strategy with clear goals to build awareness and adoption of our app in H2 2025 to keep us on track towards reaching 15K students in 2025, and 150K students in 2026.
