**The opportunity**
As Head of Finance & Operations you will work closely with the Founder & CEO
to lead strategic finance, budgeting, investor relations, financial
operations, treasury management and various company operations. You are a
self-starter who has experience telling stories through numbers, driving
significant and measurable results from your work, and you have effectively
built a team of resources to collaboratively deliver results. You are
passionate about innovating in financial services to create better outcomes
for individuals and families.
**What you’ll be doing**
* Provide financial leadership throughout the organization
* Oversee budgeting & financial projections along with preparation of company financial statements
* Support all capital raising and investor relations
* Proactively surface areas of business and financial opportunity & risk; analyze new growth initiatives
* Develop and scale all financial processes and operations including A/R and A/P
* Oversee treasury and tax planning (federal, state & local, R&D credit, etc.) & compliance with support from internal and external resources
* Collaborate with our product & technology team to ensure a seamless client payment experience
* Create materials for quarterly Board meetings
**What we are looking for**
* Experience driving outcomes in an environment where there is a strong vision and clear goals though limited oversight
* 7+ years of experience in a combination of corporate finance, investment banking and management consulting roles
* Deep understanding and experience with financial statements, financial projections and modeling
* Ability to vet, select, negotiate with and manage a large number of service providers
* Experience evaluating acquisitions or new company growth initiatives
* Ability to understand business objectives and provide informed financial insights
* Excited to innovate in a SaaS business focused on personal finance
* Highly effective at creating collaborative relationships across an entire organization
* An optimist who sees ambiguity as opportunity, and obstacles as chances to innovate
