As a Senior Platform Engineer, you'll be part of a startup that is building a
unified developer platform. Guidepad is a Platform-as-Data (PaD) tool that
allows teams to efficiently develop, specify, deploy, and maintain complex
systems at scale. Guidepad provides several key tool sets and modular
abstractions for defining entity schemas, infrastructure, services, permission
boundaries, and API operations as data, enabling a suite of low-code/no-code
interfaces. A bundled workflow management system serves as a foundation for
building automations across systems, whether the domain is ML/AI pipelines,
DevOps, or ETL.
Finally, Guidepad features native RBAC controls in a centralized Operations
API, ensuring that clients and internal services are only permitted to perform
operations within their applicable scope of work.
We’re looking for an individual who also enjoys mentoring teammates and
leveraging your experience to increase the productivity of other engineers.
**What you’ll do:**
• 3+ years of experience writing high-quality production code
• Experience building high-performance distributed systems at a large scale
• Strong cloud skills
• Strong knowledge of low-level operating system foundations (Linux kernel,
file systems, containers, etc.)
• Experience with performance engineering
