GTE is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team.
We're looking for versatile engineers who thrive in fast-paced environments
and can translate ideas into production code quickly. Your role will include:
**Core Responsibilities:**
* Architect and deploy high-performance production systems.
* Design and implement precise performance monitoring systems with micro/nanosecond accuracy
* Own complex technical initiatives end-to-end, from design through deployment and maintenance
**Required Experience:**
* Strong track record (3+ years) developing production systems, ideally using systems programming languages (Rust, C++, C, Go)
* Deep understanding of Unix/Linux environments (3+ years)
* Proven experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS
* Demonstrated ability to balance technical decisions with business priorities
* History of proactive problem-solving and adaptability across diverse technical challenges
* Strong interest in DeFi and blockchain technology
**Nice-to-Have:**
* Hands-on experience with Ethereum, Solana, or Move development
* Background in quantitative trading or financial technology
* Strong Rust programming skills
