Our mission is to fundamentally change the way IT teams work by giving them a
single place to manage their entire organization; an IT command center. AI is
a critical piece of what we’re building - it’s what enables admins to actually
automate tasks, but we don’t view ourselves as just an AI company. We view AI
as a wedge that will allow us to enter into the broader IT market - which
presents a much larger opportunity.
You can think of Flowstate as broadly doing 3 things:
* **Command:** Each IT admin has their own AI agent that they can command to automate entire workflows across all systems, apps, and devices
* **Observe:** We natively integrate into all IT infrastructure, giving IT teams full visibility into their organization
* **Detect:** Flowstate detects incidents and issues before they occur, empowering IT teams to fix problems before users are impacted
Before starting Flowstate, we (Andrei & Alexander) cofounded an application
security company, sold enterprise contracts worth several million dollars over
the course of 3 years and were eventually acquired by Rippling in 2022.

territory: bleeding-edge AI research & applications, massive product surface

### What you’ll do
* Design, architect and build out a greenfield SaaS stack
* Work directly with the founders / designer / AI engineers to build a beautiful, AI-first platform, with a focus on simplicity, quality, and scalability
* Help build out the engineering organization, standards and tooling
* Work and iterate directly with customers to understand their needs
### Who you are
* 8+ years of experience as a full stack software engineer with a passion for frontend/backend/infrastructure, and everything in between
* Deep understanding of TypeScript/JavaScript, browser internals, backend infrastructure
* Experience with modern frontend libraries (e.g. Svelte, React, D3, Tailwind), backend tooling (e.g. Node, Postgres, Temporal, Pulumi, Terraform)
* Experience with hybrid SSR and SPAs
* High standards for quality and attention to detail, and finding the right fit for automated testing
* Comfortable writing functional, maintainable CSS and front-end layouts
* Experience with cross-browser compatibility, accessibility and client-side performance optimization
* Experience implementing authz/authn
