**About Us**
We’re an early-stage startup building a voice-based AI assistant to help
people find dining options tailored to their needs.

**Why does this matter?**
Over 130 million people in the USA are on special diets—vegan, keto, or
managing allergies. Finding a place to eat is often frustrating and time-
consuming, not just for them but for their friends and family too. No current
service solves this efficiently.

Our AI assistant is designed to change that. Users will call the assistant to
get natural voice recommendations, connect with friends, or even have the AI
call restaurants to gather information.

We’re backed by **[AngelList Quant Fund](https://www.angellist.com/blog/early-
stage-quant-fund)** and have **$25,000 in AWS** credits to support
infrastructure. We’ve also developed sophisticated user experience designs and
detailed technical specifications, so you’ll have a clear vision and plan to
follow.

**What You’ll Do**
Develop the MVP for a voice-based AI assistant using:

* ElevenLabs for voice synthesis.
* ChatGPT or DeepSeek for natural language processing.
* Twilio (or similar) for managing voice calls. Implement workflows for:
* Real-time voice interactions (English and Spanish).
* AI-initiated calls to friends or restaurants.
* Background noise handling and interruption management.
* Build features to support restaurant recommendations, user preferences, and simple group management.
* Integrate data from reservation sites and social media for enhanced recommendations.
* Handle complex queries by scheduling follow-up calls when necessary.
* Maintain clean, scalable, and efficient code while adhering to clear specifications.

**What We’re Looking For**
Experience with APIs for:

* Voice synthesis (e.g., ElevenLabs).
* Natural Language Processing (e.g., OpenAI, DeepSeek).
* Telephony (e.g., Twilio or similar tools).
* Proficiency in a relevant programming language (e.g., Python, Node.js).
* Ability to manage real-time workflows for voice interactions and handle background noise.
* Willingness to work in a startup environment with financial constraints and high future potential.
* Passion for solving real-world problems using cutting-edge technology.

**Timele:** 2-3 months, opportunity to join full-time if you want to.

**Compensation**

* Initial stipend: $1,000–$2,000/month during the development period.
* Deferred payment: A lump sum of $15,000–$30,000 per month worked, depending on experience and location, paid upon securing funding.
* Equity options: May be offered based on contributions and alignment with the company’s vision.
