across the United States.

**Role Overview:**
We’re looking for a talented **Fullstack Engineering Manager** to join our
team, reporting to the Head of Product and Technology. In this role, you’ll
work with and manage our existing frontend and backend engineering specialists
to bring new customer experiences to life, strengthen the scalability and
resiliency of our systems, and help our business continue to grow.
This role is fully remote, but teammates in hub cities including New York and
San Francisco have opportunities to meet up and co-work as desired.
**Responsibilities:**
We’re excited for the Engineering Manager to help us with:
* Scoping and building new features across the business, including client-facing experiences as well as backend and logistical improvements
* Architectural oversight: both maintaining our current architecture as well as building for the future
* Supporting and enhancing our data warehouse and analytics tools
* Code reviews and mentorship across the engineering team
* Maintaining and growing our InfoSec program: constantly strengthening our security posture and building with client security in mind
* Monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting our existing services and integrations and adding more as appropriate
* Meeting and collaborating with other parts of our business (including Marketing, Client Services, Compliance, and Legal) to understand feature requirements, look into questions, and deliver efficient solutions across the business
* Meeting and collaborating with external parties including vendors and service providers as we evaluate, implement, and troubleshoot tooling and services
**Skills & Qualifications:**
Our ideal candidate has:
* 5+ years’ experience in software engineering
* Fullstack expertise including at least some of the following: Kotlin (using the Spring framework), React, Vercel Next.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Kubernetes
* Experience architecting, owning, maintaining, and troubleshooting first and third-party integrations and services
* Excitement to collaborate directly with teammates both within engineering and across the company including C-Suite leadership, Marketing, Sourcing, and Client Services as we build, review, deploy, and troubleshoot new features
* A security-focused mindset, building software with client security in mind. You incorporate current and emerging best practices into your work.
* A passion for the details – we work in a regulated industry and our customers have entrusted us with their hard-earned funds. We move fast, but don’t ever want to break things. Cross-checking calculations with Accounting and product flows with Compliance is part of daily life in our industry, although thanks to our responsive team this doesn’t add too much friction.
* A self-starter with a “no task is too small” mentality – you’re dependable, take ownership of your work, and propose solutions where you encounter challenges.
**Bonus skills and expertise include previous experience with:**
* Agriculture, finance, or fintech
* Managing engineers
* Building and maintaining InfoSec programs

Target salary range: $150,000-$190,000
The salary range reflects FarmTogether’s good faith determination of the
minimum and maximum targets for new hire salaries. Individual pay is
determined by related factors, including job skills, experience, and relevant
education or training, which may impact a final offer.
