Responsibilities:
* Provide advice to clients and recommend insurance products.
* Provide intermediary services between insurance companies and clients.
* Provide good customer service to maintain and retain clients.
* Recruit like minded individuals.
* Use leads to expand customer base.
* Interview prospective clients to gather data about them.
* Sell life policies that payout on death.
* Sell annuities that pay an income at retirement.
* Analyze the client’s current portfolios and make recommendations.
* Assist clients during the claims process..
* Maintain electronic and paper records. Requirements:
* A high school diploma or GED certificate
* An insurance sales license or willingness to earn one
* Proven experience as an insurance agent or in a similar sales role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of insurance policies and coverage options
* Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and requirements
* Ability to effectively market and sell insurance products
* Excellent customer service skills - Proficient in telemarketing techniques
