experience building a company from its foundation and having significant
impact over product decisions and roadmap.

### About the Job
As a Founding Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing
foundational pieces of our platform and taking products from ideation all the
way to production. At Faliam, we are committed to building Cloud Native
software solutions and following modern best practices. The ability to wear
many hats and operating in ambiguity is also a must, as you will be working
across the entire organization to solve challenging problems and innovating on
behalf of our customers.
### Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
* 4+ years of software development experience
* Strong Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, networking, system design)
* Experience building and maintaining highly scalable and robust Cloud Native solutions
* Practitioner of DevOps principles
* Familiarity with building microservice architectures
* Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS is preferred)
* Familiarity with multiple modern programming languages (Golang, Rust, Python, Typescript, etc.)
* Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
### Preferred Qualifications
* Extensive familiarity with Golang
* Extensive experience building for Unix/Linux environments
* Extensive experience with AWS and its catalog of managed services (e.g. DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda)
* Prior startup experience
