**Who we are**
At Evvy, our mission is to close the gender health gap by discovering and
leveraging overlooked biomarkers in the female body — starting with the
vaginal microbiome.
Evvy’s innovative platform is the first and only vaginal healthcare service to
bring together next-gen sequencing and precision clinical care. Our at-home
vaginal microbiome test kit gives women and people with vaginas access to
data-driven insights on their own bodies. We are also furthering the research
to improve diagnoses and treatments for conditions in the female body.
We are a team of passionate, mission-driven scientists, designers, engineers
and doers, working on the frontiers of consumer healthcare, data science,
biotech, and female health. Backed by leading healthcare investors including
General Catalyst, Left Lane Capital, and LabCorp, the Evvy team also includes
an advisory committee of leading OB/GYNs and vaginal microbiome researchers
with decades of experience across UCSF, Stanford, Harvard, Cleveland Clinic,
and more.
**Who you are**
We’re looking for a full-stack engineer who is truly passionate about our
ambitious mission. You are excited to build solutions that help educate and
support consumers, while also working on the cutting edge of science to
meaningfully improve our understanding of the female body.
You have deep experience working across the stack and love to “figure it out”
when faced with an unfamiliar problem. You are a fast learner and you thrive
in a high-autonomy, high-ownership environment, working alongside passionate
and driven individuals.
If this sounds like you, we would love for you to join us!
**What you’ll do**
At Evvy, you’ll have the opportunity for true ownership and growth alongside
the evolution of our product and company. You’ll work cross functionally with
our product, operations, marketing, and research teams to set the engineering
roadmap towards a new future for women’s health. You will take products and
features from ideas to production by architecting, building and deploying them
from scratch. You will help build a first-of-its-kind data platform to power
real-world research in female health.
As our small team grows, you will be foundational in building our team
culture. You will help set the tone for engineering at Evvy and will help hire
our future teammates.
