Apply**About Ender Protocol**
Ender Protocol is a pioneering crypto startup in the DeFi space, specifically
focused on Liquid Staking.
Our innovative protocol enables a novel Concentrated Yield Token (CYT) trading
and for Liquid Staking Power (LSP) through a bonding and rebasing mechanism.
Users can interact with our smart contracts to deposit LSTs, like stETH from
Lido Finance, into NFT bonds, set maturity periods, and earn bond rewards in
END tokens. The END tokens have a sophisticated treasury backing mechanism
achieved through staking and rebasing.
Our protocol acts as a liquid staking platform for bond depositors to offer
their yields in a concentrated form in exchange for fees through trading and
rebasing of the tokens, using a novel mechanism called Refraction.
We will implement a decentralized governance (DAO) system using our governance
token, ENDR, in order to facilitate and incentivize the emissions voting (also
known as Bribing) and asset allocation within our protocol to various vaults
and LSTs.
**Position Overview**
As the CTO / Tech Lead + Principal Smart Contract Engineer, you will be
responsible for leading the engineering team and shaping the technological
trajectory of Ender Protocol.
Your role will involve deep engagement with blockchain technology, Solidity,
and smart contract development. You will also lead the smart contract
engineering development and architectural solutions for the DeFi and liquid
staking protocol as well as the governance token and system.
**Responsibilities**
* Lead the engineering team in the implementation and optimization of smart contracts for Ender Protocol.
* Collaborate with the CEO and other C-suite members to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
* Conduct code reviews and ensure that high standards are maintained throughout the development cycle.
* Lead in the design process of the protocol and integration of multiple DeFi products and features.
* Conduct thorough design and system analysis to ensure maximum composibility and security.
* Development and maintenance of governance system, DAO management, token, and emissions voting.
* Gas optimization for contracts and cross-chain deployment. Integration with Chainlink CCIP.
* Mastery and expert understanding of advanced design patterns and proper structure of DeFi features, keeping in mind modularity, upgradability, and security.
* Full suite of development skills for treasury asset management systems, DVT, liquid staking, and all related fields of work related to staking platforms.
**Future Growth and Collaboration: Web3 Gaming, Metaverse and AI**
* Expanding into the web3 gaming and metaverse space with our novel Metaverse Bond; the Ender Bond NFT, which not only provide the yield tokens backed by LST yield offering concentrated yield, but providing further utility to mint Realm Portals into the metaverse powered by liquid staking.
* Work with cross-chain deployments and NFTs in a game, working with game developers on development of an open-world MMORPG using Unreal Engine 5 structured as a metaverse platform, as well as working with AI engineers on embodied AI Avatar agents powered by LLMs, procedurally AI generated worlds and environments, 3D models, assets, etc.
This side of the development is indirect and will be split off into a separate
team which will be dedicated to working on this front. But coordinating and
integrating with the Ender Protocol side of the development will be crucial.
**Requirements**
* Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
* 10+ years of software engineering experience.
* At least 5 years of experience in Solidity and smart contract development.
* Deep understanding of blockchain technology and decentralized finance (DeFi).
* Proven experience in developing and deploying production-grade smart contracts.
