##### Job Description :
We are looking for a Python Developer with strong Python experience to join
our Engineering team. The Python Developer is responsible for maintaining and
improving existing Python scripts and packages, as well as designing and
building new ones. The primary purpose of this role is to support the
development of automation for the company’s other departments to facilitate
improved efficiency and capability of those teams.
The Python Developer will report to the Chief Information Officer, and could
supervise others in the future. This role will work closely with other
Emergicon personnel, both developers and administrators, as well as department
leads and managers.
##### **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Coordinating with various teams to determine application requirements
* Writing scalable code using the Python programming language
* Working with and building out our Prefect Cloud flows (See prefect.io for more details)
* Building, improving, and maintaining the company’s custom Python packages
* Maintaining the Python GitHub repositories
* Ability to integrate multiple data sources into a single system
* Familiarity with testing tools
* Ability to collaborate as well as work independently
* Ability to communicate effectively
* Other job-related duties as assigned
* Familiarity with Docker and Linux
##### **REQUIREMENTS;**
* 4+ years of experience as a Python developer
* Experience with GitHub and git tools
* Experience with VS Code and Pylance
* 4 year college degree highly recommended
* Live in Texas and willing to travel Quarterly to Terrell, TX office location.
* Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
* Previous experience with Prefect.io a plus

* This is primarily a remote position with occasional required on-site trainings or meetings at our Terrell, TX location. Employees must be verifiable residents of Texas.
