We are seeking a Junior Developer to join our organization in support of a
Federal client on a team of Angular/.NET/SQL developers working on a complex
grants management platform. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in
supporting the existing application, adding new modules, and addressing
performance and functional issues. This role requires a deep understanding of
front-end and back-end technology with a proven track record of designing,
developing, and maintaining complex web applications. This role is an
individual contributor and applicants must have the skills to be able to work
both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment. Effective
communication and prioritization skills are vital for success in this role.
The position will be a mix of remote and on site work and is open to US
citizens residing in the Rockville, MD area. On site work in Rockville, MD is
required a minimum of 2 days per week.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Work closely with the development team to support operations and maintenance (O&M) and new product development activities.
* Design and develop robust, scalable web applications using Angular, SQL and ASP.NET.
* Utilize practical experience in custom, complex enterprise-wide workflow-based systems.
* Develop new system enhancements, CRs, and resolve defects to improve the application.
* Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain to innovative and cutting edge.
* Escalate roadblocks and issues to project leadership in a professional and timely manner.
* Work closely with project leadership and other stakeholders to implement and/or consult requested solutions.
* Must be able to work independently with little to no daily supervision, is a team player, open to ideas and learning.
* Work in a distributed team environment where team members are spread across numerous locations and often communicate virtually to support clients.
**Minimum Requirements**
* Bachelor's Degree in CS or related field or equivalent work experience
* 2-4 years of professional experience in back end development with ASP.NET and experience with SQL databases.
* 2-4 years of professional experience in front and technologies including Angular, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
* Efficiency in .NET, C#, TSQL, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, NPM, bootstrap, EF, IDE (visual studio, VS code)
* Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID, microservices, Restful API, version control, Git, testing and QA practices, and responsive web design.
* Experience with secure coding practices, input validation, user role-based access control (RBAC), authentication and authorization (OAuth, IWT), error handling and logging
* ADO, ADO Board, Jira
* Experience with AI tools
* Expert in all aspects of agile delivery and enterprise software development
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and develop practical solutions.
* Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in all work activities.
* Possess considerable logic and understanding to analyze and troubleshoot problems
* Must be inquisitive and able to efficiently reach an understanding of complex tasks while using this understanding to produce project artifacts that satisfy project objectives.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
