**Job Summary:**
A Cloud Engineer is a member of the cloud engineering team. You will be
responsible for building and supporting business-critical public cloud
infrastructure relied upon by major global brands.
**Duties & Responsibilities:**
* Implementation of public cloud environments to support business applications.
* Ensure the stability, availability, efficient operation and cost of the E2open Public Cloud.
* Effectively utilize automation ARM Templates, Azure CLI and APIs
* Document system implementations, upgrades, and patches for public cloud-based systems.
* Perform problem analysis and resolution tasks.
* Implement scripts to manage operational and administrative activities.
* Work as an extension of the Security Team to design and implement security best practices.
**Prior Experience:**
* 3+ years experience with Azure based implementations in a business critical environment.
* Some experience with AWS or OCI.
* A good operations background
**Skills/Qualities:**
* Effective skills with Azure Services: Virtual Machines, RDS, App Services, Application Gateways, SQL Databases, Storage Accounts, Networking, etc.
* Effective skills with ARM Templates, Azure CLI and APIs, Jenkins, Chef, or equivalents.
* Good understanding of auto-scaling, auto-healing and disaster recovery techniques.
* Knowledge of monitoring, logging and tools such as: Log Analytics, Datadog or Zabbix.
* Proficient with C#, PowerShell or Python and Windows administration.
* Proficient with Networking technologies and common TCP/IP protocols and applications.
* Strong plus: Web, EDI, XML, RDBMS.
* Must be highly motivated and demonstrate high level of initiative and analytical troubleshooting skills.
* Solid written and verbal communication skills.
**Education & Professional Qualifications:**
* S. Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent computer-related education.
**Special Work Hours Requirement:**
* Participate in incident handling and off-hours/weekend maintenance activities, as necessary.
* Meetings and coordination with global team members.
