As the lead backend engineer, you will join a small, highly skilled team to
develop scalable APIs that handle hundreds of millions of requests daily for
Live Ops.

**WHAT YOU 'LL DO**
* Lead backend engineering for BIG BALLERS VR (using Node, Postgres, Railway, and Cloudflare Workers).
* Implement critical API systems to support gameplay, core infrastructure, networking, streaming, and AI.
* Collaborate directly with the co-founders to create highly scalable, reliable, and useful systems.
* Optimize APIs for low latency and high bandwidth traffic, serving millions of users per day.
* Drive backend hiring and team growth as responsibilities increase.

**PAY AND BENEFITS**
Salary ranges will be narrowed during the interview process based on the
candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Additional benefits
