The Catalyst Team is seeking a Mobile QA Automation Engineer to join our full-
time team as full-time employee.

**Mobile QA Automation Engineer**

* QA validation of ongoing development tickets during sprint iterations.
* Regression testing end of sprint builds prior to client hand-off.
* Ongoing test development and automated test coverage of new and existing features.
* Collaborating cross-team to provide level of effort estimates for testing validation of ongoing development work and assist in determining timelines.
* Mentored by a Tech Lead and supported by your teammates based in the US UK Poland and Latin America you will help to create custom enterprise and consumer applications and platforms. You will be responsible for end-to-end testing across the whole QA process. This will range from the beginning of sprint planning to writing test cases based on user stories and includes the writing of automated tests as well as some manual testing to ensure 360 quality control.
* You will work with other engineers around the world to write clear concise and readable acceptance tests in true BDD style. You'll help to write and maintain tests using Jest and Detox while analyzing and decomposing complicated software systems and designing strategies to test these systems.
* When you join this team you will work continuously with the development team as well as the test engineering teams to ensure that we are providing the highest quality of code peer code reviews and pair programming.

**Qualifications**
* 5-7 years experience, Ideal Industry Mobile application developer/Finance apps
* Degree Preferred-Bachelor of computer science Technical competencies.
* Programming experience in Typescript Swift or Kotlin
* Expertise in developing automated tests for React Native using Jest.
* Expertise in developing automated tests using at least one of the following:
* Detox framework for React Native UI testing.
* XCUITest for Swift
* Espresso framework for Android apps using Kotlin.
* Experience developing and executing tests within XCode and/or Android Studio.
* Experience in developing and executing ongoing regression testing plans.
* Knowledge of XML/JSON RESTful APIs as well as tools to manipulate these such as Charles Proxy or Fiddler.
* Test planning with a history of writing test cases.
* Skilled with continuous integration toolchains (Bitrise/Fastlane/Testflight).
* Skilled in Git with a solid understanding of Git Flow practices.
* Experience in performing detailed code reviews of test suites and automation plans.
* Experience using Jira in an Agile test process.
