What we're looking for
Cohere Commerce is growing our team of passionate people on a mission to make
revolutions in retail industry, and leverage untapped qualitative retail data
for brand growth. We are looking for a full-stack developer who can lead our
software product development, serving as a key member of our early founding
team. This individual will play a crucial role in driving user acquisition and
fundraising initiatives.

Cohere Commerce (Techstars ‘23) is Trustpilot for the retail industry. We are
building the new industry standard for B2B commerce connecting brands and
retailers in an efficient, data-driven way. In only 9 months since our launch,
we’ve onboarded 900 B2B customers, and built partnerships with national
distribution channels.

Our team is a group of passionate individuals who share a common goal: to
build a product that transform the opaque retail industry. We're committed to

This is a full-time role that can be held remotely in the United States.
Responsibilities:
Migrate existing beta product to a new SEO-optimized and responsive stack.
Design, develop, and implement the frontend using a modern framework.
Integrate with Supabase backend for seamless data flow.
Implement robust user authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Thoroughly test all features to ensure they function as expected (assistance
provided).
Deploy the web app on a hosting platform such as Vercel.
Iterate product with the team.
Qualifications:
Required
Proficiency in React/Next.js with TypeScript/Javascript.
Fluency in HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
Strong understanding of frontend and backend integration.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills and the ability to work well
within engineering organization and cross functions.
Love collaborating via code reviews and architecture discussions, and are
motivated to improve their teammates' productivity
Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance
considerations
Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities
Show motivation for personal growth and learning new technologies to support
the team's needs
Bonus
Experience in creating SEO-optimized and scalable web applications is a plus.
Experience working on an Infrastructure or Platform team supporting a small to
meidum engineering organization. Prior experience in venture-backed startups
is a plus.
Solid understanding of client networking, performance, caching, client storage
solutions, and asynchronous programming
Experience (beyond configuration) working with bundlers, testing frameworks,
editor integrations, frontend build/CI systems, observability tooling, or
developer environments.
