**About this role:
In this role you'll be working closely with the Cofounders to develop,
maintain, and improve the EVM node (Geth and OP-stack) and supporting
infrastructure we run at CLIENT. We value people who can quickly obtain a deep
technical understanding of new domains and enjoy being self-directed and
identifying the most important problems to solve.
**Requirments:**
* Have a deep understanding of the EVM and how external tooling integrates with it
* Have strong opinions on what the best tooling looks like for developers on EVM chains
* Have experience designing, implementing, and running production services
* Can debug problems across the stack, such as networking issues, performance problems, or memory leaks
* 2+ years of experience in software engineering in the crypto space, with substantial experience directly working on the EVM
