THE POSITION
This is a unique opportunity to join a startup and be part of Cobu’s founding
sales team; owning and developing your own territory. You will be responsible
for driving Cobu's fast-paced expansion by selling to national and regional
property owners, managers, and marketing teams. You will not just be selling
another tech product, you will be making the world a better place everyday as
a result of the problem Cobu is solving and the human connections and sense of
community we are creating. Beyond the primary focus of the role to achieve
sales goals, you will also work with Cobu's senior leaders to assist in
establishing Cobu’s sales process, tools, and product development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Drive Cobu penetration to achieve monthly, quarterly, annual sales quotas
* Lead entire sales cycle (prospecting, closing, nurturing relationships post close)
* Generate leads and setup pitch/demo meetings (Zoom product demos and in person meetings)
* Build strong, long-lasting, trust-based relationships with owners and managers
* Develop and manage your pipeline (in Hubspot), present updates on KPIs
* Participate in industry events and associations as relevant to help drive growth
* Ensure successful transition to customer success post contract signing and stay involved ongoing to help ensure customer satisfaction and grow the relationship
* Conduct ongoing industry and competitive research to stay on top of the market
* Contribute to Cobu’s product development process and learn new features
* Assist in the development of Cobu’s foundational sales team, practices, playbook
* Assist in the development of tools and processes to support sales growth (eg, sales materials, case studies, customer testimonials)
* Evangelize on behalf of the company and its vision
* Contribute to Cobu’s collaborative team culture and live Cobu’s values everyday
* Collaborate closely with Marketing

REQUIREMENTS

* 5+ years B2B SaaS sales closing roles including early stage startups
* Multifamily real estate / proptech SaaS sales experience is strongly preferred
* Full cycle sales of transactional deals (do your own prospecting; 10+ contracts/month, $4k-$10k ACV)
* Proven track record of success in consistently achieving/exceeding quota
* Pioneer style seller that can thrive in an early stage startup small sales team environment without deeply established processes/playbooks
* Strong professional references from 3-6 colleagues (managers, teammates) across prior roles to verify experience and performance in roles
* Experience and strength delivering product demos in online video pitch meetings
* Capture detailed information into sales pipeline management software (Hubspot)
* Sense of ownership, pride, accountability in your performance (strong goal focus)
* Team player that collaborates closely with sales team and cross-functional team
* Good organization and time management skills
* High energy, enthusiastic, and passionate

COMPENSATION / BENEFITS
Compensation: Base Salary Range: $90,000/yr - $115,000/yr, plus commission and
equity.
Base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of range for
this position. Actual salaries may vary based on various factors. This
position is eligible for commission and bonus in accordance with the company’s
plan.
