** _The Opportunity_**
We are seeking a **Junior Full Stack Engineer** to join our growing team and
have a strong preference for this position to be based at our worldwide
corporate headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In this role, the Junior Full
Stack Engineer is responsible for supporting the development of CloudHesive’s
SaaS-based Cloud Management Platform, Centricity.
** _What You’ll Be Doing_**
* Work efficiently and collaboratively as a member of an Agile Scrum team
* Partake in estimating, planning, and managing all stories and tasks assigned to the team
* Be an active and involved participant in all aspects of the agile process/cycle
* Take overall responsibility for assigned stories and tasks
* Collaborate with testing focused software engineers on the Scrum team to assure delivery of a high-quality product
* Understand and adhere to the definition-of-done (DoD)
* Participate in technical discussions ranging from current implementation challenges to architectural evolution of the product portfolio
* Create and maintain applicable documentation
** _Is this role for you?_**
* Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; and/or 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Self-motivated with strong task and time management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with an open and honest attitude
* Prior experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum and Kanban)
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills coupled with a collaborative approach
* Ability to own issues and follow through on solutions and projects
* Experience with full stack SaaS development experience using Agile methodologies
* Experience with current web technologies (e.g., Java, Node.js, HTML/CSS, AngularJS, React, Redux, Vue, REST, JSON)
* Experience using functional programming techniques
* Experience creating micro services architecture
* Experience creating versioned public and private APIs
* Experience with Test Driven Development
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., CodeSuite)
* Familiarity with serverless and container technologies (e.g., Docker on ECS, Lambda)
* Comfortable with general cloud-computing concepts and services (e.g., AWS)
* Understanding of various data persistence technologies (e.g., Relational, Schema less, etc.)
* Periodically engage with the technical community via Pull Requests, Blog Posts, Social Media, Webinars, Meet Ups, etc.
* Attain and/or Retain relevant Certifications
* Commit to continuous learning via reading technical documentation, participating in Webinars or other such events
