This position is part of a team that focuses on infrastructure buildout and
maintenance tasks in support of research and development teams. This team will
focus on developing and maintaining secure and highly available cloud
networks. This position will involve regular interaction with CCG project
teams where you will directly impact the team's ability to deliver. You will
be looked to for architectural design, systems design, and developing unique
and elegant solutions to pressing challenges.

##### **Requirments:**
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance with a willingness to obtain a TOP SECRET with SCI clearance at a later date ( _note, only US Citizens are eligible for security clearances_ ).
* A stickler for automation and documentation - the goal is to share solutions and functionality with other engineers to deploy. Ideally, the need for reach back should be minimal once the solution is automated and documented.
* Ability to design maintainable long standing systems alone or with a small team of engineers.
* Strong ability to troubleshoot isolated network environments.
* Continuous learner, both able and willing to quickly learn new technology and software.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision, while regularly collaborating with team members.
* Experience with scripting languages with the ability to develop automation scripts from scratch for out teams (Bash, Python).
* Ability to analyze network traffic using Wireshark, tcpdump or related tools.
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code fundamentals (Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, etc).
* Experience writing idempotent playbooks/manifests/etc for provisioning/configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
* Experience with host-based and network-based firewalls.
* Experience with a version control code repository like gitlab, bitbucket, mercurial, etc.
* Strong hands-on experience in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, etc).
* Ability to configure load balancers, and core TCP/IP services (DNS, DHCP)
* Experience with VPN technologies such as Nebula, Wireguard, OpenVPN.
* Strong understanding of layer3/4 networking.
* Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
##### **Preferred Qualifications:**
* Active TS/SCI security clearance.
* Experience supporting government customers.
* Experience with cloud network infrastructure architecture.
* Experience with task tracking software such as Jira.
* Experience working in an agile environment.
* Experience with system alerting and monitoring.
* Strong hands-on experience with cloud networking.
