As a Software Development Engineer in Test III in the Testing Center of
Excellence (TCOE) team based in Irvine, CA, you will collaborate with
business, development, infrastructure (TSO), and architecture teams to deliver
Test Automation solutions and services for mission-critical platforms and
products. You will provide thought leadership and technical expertise in
researching industry trends/practices/tools and lead initiatives to innovate
and improve Test Automation capabilities.

* You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent work experience
* You have a minimum 8+ years of work experience as a software engineer, SDET, or similar role with focus on quality and test automation.
* You have strong, proven programming skills in Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript
* You are well versed with testing practices including, regression, acceptance, functional, and performance testing.
* You are an expert with the SIA testing framework and building highly concurrent, distributed, and resilient message-driven applications using Akka
* You have strong technical expertise in the architecture and creation of automation frameworks, test harnesses, and/or QA focused tools.
* You have a proven experience with automated testing for APIs, Websites, Desktop Applications, and ETL processes.
* You are fluent in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Pytest, and Cucumber
* You have experience with: Docker and Containers; CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices; Elastic Search and Kibana; Cloud providers such as AWS and Azure
* Microsoft WPF and building and maintaining desktop applications
* You have the ability to create data analysis tools and interpret large data sets.
* You work effectively with distributed teams (remote, offshore, and in different countries)
* You have strong tech translation and enablement skills. You articulate clear connections between the customer and action.
* You have a passion for achieving results, even under tough circumstances. You’re persistent in finding the best solutions in order to solve a problem.
* You have experience working in a diversity of situations and adapt to changes with a learning mindset.
