### The Team
The candidate will be joining a team that includes backend-focused engineers
and full-stack developers proficient in Typescript, Node.js, Flutter, and
React. We have experience at various startups that have acheived billion
dollar valuations, and have studied computer science at schools like Stanford
Univeristy.
The role demands active participation in daily engineering standups and close
collaboration with the existing team.
There will be considerable opportunity to advance as an individual contributor
and leader within the company as we scale!
### Tasks and Deliverables
Development and maintenance of the company's backend infrastructure, with a
focus on API development.
Deployment and management of serverless cloud functions.
Collaboration with the frontend team, especially those working with Flutter
and Flutter-flow.
Handle basic DevOps responsibilities, including deployment, hosting, and
managing IAM privileges.
Active participation in daily engineering standups and close collaboration
with existing team members.
### Required Experience
Strong proficiency in writing APIs.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Proficiency in Node.js backend development with TypeScript.
Knowledge of front-end technologies, notably React and Angular.
Basic DevOps and infrastructure best practices, including deploying cloud
functions, hosting, and managing IAM privileges.
### Nice to Have Experience
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience with Firestore (NoSQL db), Google Hosting, and Google Cloud
functions.
Experience with Flutter, especially Flutter web.
### Job Highlights
Required Overlap: 5 hours with PST.
